Love this pattern – just have one question? What did you use for yarn, etc., and what size crochet hook? Thank you for sharing the pattern!!!

She just means to work 3 sc across the next 3 stitches, chain 6, work 3 sc across the next 3 sts, ch6, around until you have 4 big loops (the ch6 loops) separated by 3 sc. I started rnd 2 with a ch1, sc in the same. When you come back around, you’ll join with a slip stitch to that first sc. At least, that’s how I did it ๐ For round 3, just work doubles in the singles and 10 doubles in each of the 4 big circles (to form the corners of your “square”). Hope this helps ๐

May I ask how you get from round 2 to round 3, please? It seems to be a huge leap to do 6ch then go straight into an already established 6ch doing 10 dcs. Doesn’t the final 6ch from round 2 need to be secured somewhere first?
